La Donna moved to Atlanta, Georgia in June of 2019 and was focused on starting life in a new city alone. Heads down for two years growing multiple businesses and rediscovering the love of self. She became very comfortable with being alone and traveling the world, until she received some advice that would change her direction, "don't stay single for too long, you will get use to it." After joining multiple dating sites, social groups, and meetups, La Donna came across the profile of Kerry and they began a distant friendship, that neither imagined would lead to forever. They began communicating regarding social media posts, life events, and life in ATL. "Kerry invited me to a BBQ he was hosting at his house, and after going back and forth in my head, I decided to go socialize with a group of people I had never met." It would be more than six months later that we started to connect via messenger more frequently. Finally one day Kerry asked the question....would you like to go out with me? And this started our journey to forever. Two people, from two very different places, with very different life experiences began navigating getting to know each other and what co-existing would be like. "The one thing I remember feeling whenever we got together was a sense of peace. I always felt cared for and looked after, so it became easy to spend all of our free time together". Kerry moved to Atlanta from Mississippi in 2012 and no matter how many times he said.. "I'm going to be single and not get into a relationship", Kerry always found himself searching for the "1". After 10 years in Atlanta he was about ready to give up on love, when he met La Donna. She was different from anyone he had ever dated because she refused to have the label of a girlfriend. This made dating for them very intentional. Spending time together, learning each other, and finding their alignment, felt very natural and fun. Two Saggitarius's with very outgoing spirits found themselves submerged in each other, while blocking out the outside noise. "Kerry became my peace and the calm to the chaos. His gentle demeanor and genuine desire to support me in every area of my life, became the pathway to my heart". "La Donna's consistent support shown through unconditional love and encouragement has given me a level of peace and vision to know anything is possible as partners." So after nearly three years of dating they were sure that forever is what they both wanted. Kerry proposed to La Donna on January 24th, 2025, surrounded by their closest friends and supported by their families. And now they will share their forever love story with you on February 12, 2026, in the beautiful Dominican Repulic, where they plan to make their second home together.
